Do you know Miss. Universe contest? According to Wikipedia is “an annual international female beauty contest, and the title for the winner of the contest, founded in 1952 by California clothing company Pacific Mills”.
Last month, this year’s contest is done. This contest is at Mexico City. On this contest, Rachel Smith, who is First Miss U.S.A., had a trouble. This happened was she slipped and fell on her bottom during the during the Miss University evening-gown competition. That time, she was booed by Mexican audience. After that happen, she was booed by people often time when she stayed in Mexico.
I couldn’t understand about it because I think this is not her fault. That is the way it goes.
At this contest, Riyo Mori, who is Miss Japan, got the First Miss. Universe! This is first time that Japanese got first. I was so excited!!
This article also said U.S and Mexico’ s relations worsened, and illegal immigrant.
After I read whole article, I could understand why Mexican booed to Rachel. I was sad about it. She couldn’t do anything about it. They have to think about it. This is not for her, this is government!
I hope she doesn’t think about that Mexican are bad because they were confused about government and Rachel.
In the future, I wish that no more boo in this contest because This Miss. Universe contest is very honorable.
