When I was elementary school student 6th grade, I went to Fukushima, where is the north part of Japan, because I applied to exchange student for just two weeks in winter vacation. This program is just for elementary school student, but only 4th grade to 6th grade’s students. This program is produced by National Nature Children’s House. This program place is different every year.
In summer vacation, Fukushima’s group came to Kagoshima. Then, we stayed together just three days. In the day, we went canoeing together. Most of the people were first time to do it that time. Also, when we went to Fukushima, we stayed together just three days, and we went to skiing!
We went to there not just for fun. We learned a lot of things in there. Do you know “Mr. Hideyo Noguchi”? He studied “Yellow Fever” and “Syphilis” He was died by Yellow Fever when he was studying about it. He is from Fukushima, so we went to a lot of places that relate his life in Fukushima.
Since I backed to Kagoshima, I’ve never been there, so I want to visit there again someday because I got a very big impression from that. I can’t forget about it.
I can’t to do same thing now, so in the future, I want to go many places where relate famous people because I can learn many things from them.
